Overview
Live Oak Technologies developed the Punch List application with
custom manufacturers in mind. We kept hearing from custom
manufacturers that they needed a tool to assist in managing quality
during the production process of custom jobs. These custom jobs
could at times have up to 100 open quality issues for each job.
These manufacturers were running into the problem of not being able
to identify which defects were open and which were closed for
multiple custom jobs. Customers were getting frustrated because the
manufacturer always had to use the line “Let me get back to you on
that”. Live Oak Technologies has created a Class A software
application for Managing and Tracking custom manufacturing quality issues. The
application gives manufacturers the information they need in real
time. We also provide the controlled capability to allow your
customers to log in and view defects for authorized jobs.
We
built this application from the ground up starting with 100% web
enablement and using a single database for storing all your quality
issues in one location. We then implemented our automated workflow
engine that allows defects to get routed to the individual who is
responsible for resolving the quality issue. Tack on email
notifications and web reporting capabilities and what you have is a
